Core Values

The core values stem from the library’s commitment to deliver prompt information resources to support teaching, learning and research activities. This requires staff to be imbued with these values:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Teamwork
  • User-centredness
  • Professionalism
  • Innovativeness
  • Partnerships
  • Ethical Considerations

It is the strategic focus of the library to organise periodic workshops for faculty to help sharpen their skills for effective and efficient print and online information retrieval. With the advent and proliferation of information and communication technologies and the consequent information overload, staff of the library instruct all Level 100 students in Information Literacy so that they are able to navigate the global information space successfully.
