Pupils of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Basic School took part in an enriching educational excursion to Accra on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The tour was designed to complement classroom learning with real-world exposure to some of Ghana’s most significant national institutions.
The trip included visits to the Accra International Airport, the Parliament House of Ghana, and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
The opportunity offered pupils firsthand insights into the country’s aviation sector, governance structures, and historical heritage.
School authorities emphasized that the excursion reflects UHAS Basic School’s commitment to experiential learning, broadening pupils’ knowledge beyond textbooks and exposing them to institutions central to national development.
The pupils described the experience as both educational and inspiring, expressing excitement at the chance to witness Ghana’s key institutions and historical sites firsthand.
