The Office of International Programmes (OIP) was established in 2015, four years after the establishment of the University of Health and Allied Sciences. The Office was created in response to the provision of international collaborations to be seen as pivots in augmenting higher education in the 21st century. UHAS has immensely benefited from the international collaborations it has forged during the period. The Office of International Programmes at UHAS wishes you a hearty welcome.
In line with its mandate, OIP coordinates, facilitates and manages activities related to all international collaborations, students exchange programmes, UHAS Summer School, international students and faculty members. OIP has therefore, served as an integral part of UHAS, bridging the gap between the University and the international community. We stand as the face of the University to serve as a liaison between UHAS and its foreign clients both professionally and ethically.
Situated in Ghana's beautiful region, Volta Region, UHAS is the only public university in Ghana solely focused on the training of healthcare professionals and practitioners to meet the health needs of people both locally and globally.
