Johnson is a highly motivated, innovative and proactive human resource practitioner and administrator with passionate interest in developing people, having considerable depth of experience and skill in the policy and practice of human resource management and administration especially in Ghana’s higher education sector. He is currently an Assistant Registrar in the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho where he provides administrative support to the Registrar in achieving the human resource needs of UHAS.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana and later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Cape Coast.
Johnson began his career at the Human Resource and Organisational Development Directorate, University of Ghana where he served for about six (6) years, providing support in implementing the University’s staff training and development agenda. He later joined the University of Health and Allied Sciences in November 2016.
Johnson’s main area of administrative and research interest is in exploring the possibilities of deploying ICT tools and techniques to enhance work performance and productivity. He is also keen on providing the necessary support for employees to develop their full potential towards achieving organisational goals and also promoting employee satisfaction at the work place.
