Mr. Richmond Arthur is an Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of Traditional and Alternative Medicine since 2021. He is a passionate natural product pharmacologist who seeks to change his world and provide health care solutions through research, innovation, and advocacy most especially in the area of antimicrobial resistance with special interest in tuberculosis. He is a member of British Pharmacological Society, American Society for Microbiology,, The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene; and Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research.
Education
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Pharmacology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds a Master of Philosophy (MPHIL) in Pharmacology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2021) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Herbal Medicine (FIRST CLASS HONORS) from the same University. In (2016). He also has a Certificate (Leadership) from YALI Regional Leadership center (2019).
Work experience
Mr. Richmond Arthur worked as part-time lecturer at Prince Emmanuel College of Natural Medicine and Amen Professional College. He was a graduate research assistant at the Department of Pharmacology, KNUST and a Teaching and Research Assistant at Department of Pharmacology KNUST.
