Rosemary Agbefu is currently a Junior Assistant Registrar at the Office of International Programmes (OIP). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon; an M.Sc. in International Development Studies from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Ås, Norway, and an MPhil in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo, Norway.
She is in charge of all administrative tasks in the OIP. Together with the Director of International Programmes, she works to ensure that the University of Health and Allied Sciences becomes a globally engaging one, as well as working to enhance the international image of UHAS.
Miss Agbefu has extensive experience working with international/exchange students at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon. She has also served as a Research Assistant on the POVSUS/REDD multi-country project between Norway and Ghana.
Her research interests include forest management and local communities, conflict management surrounding the exploitation of natural resources, the rights of child labourers in Ghana.
