On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, the Human Resource Directorate of the University of Health and Allied Sciences organised a day training workshop for Senior Staff at the Cedi Auditorium, Main Campus, Sokode-Etoe near Ho.
Mr. David Adzovie, Director of the Human Resource Directorate in his welcome remarks stated that, the training workshop aimed at equipping Senior Staff with essential skills and knowledge in the areas of Work Ethics and Professionalism, Attitude to Work and Writing Skills, Essentials of Record Management, The Art of Filing and Understanding Mail Merge for Office Work. He therefore appealed to all participants to seize the opportunity to improve upon their skills and knowledge.
The Director made a presentation on Work Ethics and Professionalism. Ms. Yaa Amankwaa Opuni, a Senior Assistant Registrar at the Human Resource Directorate took participants through basic Writing Skills and Attitude to Work.
Other speakers at the workshop were Mr. Solomon Akrong, Senior Assistant Registrar (The Art of Filing), Mr. Dominic Agyei Dankwah, Assistant Librarian (Essentials of Records Management) and Mr. Stephen Senaya, Senior Analyst (Understanding Mail Merge for Office Work).
