Madam Adjoa Banson, an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho served as a mentor during a session of the National Science and Math (2019) Quiz competition held in Ho. Madam Banson was given the opportunity to advice the students who were gathered from second cycle institutions in the Volta Region.. 

She recounted her personal experience where there were stereotype views about persons who study the sciences. This is because such persons were perceived to be good students and for that matter entreated to study Medicine. Madam Banson says, somewhere along her educational life, she learnt about other fields of science which were barely exploited by the “good” students since they all want to be Medical doctors. The path she decided to chart was very beneficial to her even though she has a lot more to achieve in her career.

Madam Adjoa Banson also admonished the students to have a healthy balance of their academic, spiritual and social life in order to open their scope to other facets of life..
