Professor Francis Bruno Zotor, an Associate Professor in Public Health Nutrition, School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, Ghana has been elected to serve a four year term as the Chair of the Technical Advisory Group for Nutrition (TAG-NU) of the Foods and Drugs Authority (FDA) of Ghana.

The TAG-NU has been formed as the very first of its kind in Ghana to act as a forum of advice for the FDA and it is expected to provide collective professional Nutrition and related expertise to assist the Authority in making appropriate risk management decisions towards the enhancement of Nutrition in the interest of Public Health in Ghana and beyond. It is also hoped that, the TAG-NU will provide up-to-date and timely guidance and recommendations based on scientific reasoning, taking into account current and emerging issues locally and worldwide to enhance regulation in all areas related to Nutrition within the mandate of the FDA.

Prof Francis Zotor is a Senior Member (academic) at the Department of Family and Community Health at the School of Public Health.
