One of the strategic objectives of University of Health and Allied Sciences is to rigorously ensure efficient internal management processes that will balance risk exposure with business performance. The University has, therefore, embraced an offer from the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants, Ghana (CIAMC) to enrol UHAS administrators in the Institute’s professional licensing programme at significant savings to participants.
The programme was specially organized by the Office of the Registrar, and attracted Senior Members from various Directorates, Schools and Units. It is anticipated that the program will assist corporate, management, and mid-level managers of the University in their stewardship role towards achieving UHAS objectives, and further strengthen the internal control standards of the University.
The16-month program will unfold over three modules. The first module, comprising four days of lectures, ran from June 25 to 28. This will be followed by six months of internship, and another six months to submit assignments and complete projects for defence before a panel of examiners:
