The Yonsei team —led by Professor So Yoon Kim, Project Investigator at the College of Medicine, Yonsei Graduate School of Public Health— met with the UHAS management team to report on their findings on the collaboration between the two universities.
They discussed vocational training manuals developed for the various schools and other activities planned for the fourth year of the collaboration. The team had earlier visited the School of Medicine and of Nursing and Midwifery in Ho, and the School of Public Health in Hohoe.
The UHAS–Yonsei partnership, currently in its third year, is a four-year programme involving student and staff exchange, joint research activities, and vocational training —among others— geared towards building capacity and bringing the universities closer to local communities.
