Mr. Dennis Yao Amedume is a Senior Administrative Assistant assigned to Students Record and Management Information System Unit, Directorate of Academic Affairs of the University of Health and Allied Sciences. Prior to that he assisted the Examination Officer at the time in the Administrative set up of the Teaching and Examinations Unit of the University.
Education He holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with Adult Education and Human Resource Studies from University of Ghana in 2015. He is currently studying for Master of Art Degree in Educational Measurement and Evaluation at the University of Cape Coast.
Work Experience Prior to his assignment to Students Record and Management Information System Unit, he work at the Admissions Unit where he assisted the Admission Officer to carry out Admissions for the University. He also work at Teaching and Examination Unit under the same directorate providing administrative support to the unit. He plays a major role in administrative activities of the various units under the Directorate.
Research Output His area of research interest is creating the enabling environment for effective teaching and learning in higher educational institutions. He also has keen interest in assessment practices in higher education, fresher’s adjustment to university life, Evaluation of students’ conformity to examination rules and regulations, perception of lecturers, administrators, and students on examination malpractices, impact of course and lecturers’ evaluation exercise on lecturers’ performance and effect of reward system on employee’s performance and turnover intention..
