Millicent Boadiwa-Yirenkyi is a Principal Research Assistant and presently the Head of Research, Evaluations and Publications Unit of the Quality Assurance Directorate, University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho.

She holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Applied Epidemiology from the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Human Biology from University of Cape Coast and Higher National Diploma (HND) Dispensing Technology from Kumasi Polytechnic, now Kumasi Technical University.

She won a full Commonwealth Scholarship in 2019 to attend Summer School in the University of Mauritius. Ms. Boadiwa-Yirenkyi also won a bursary (August, 2020) to participate in Effective Project Planning and Evaluation (EPPE) in Health Research Course, organized by the African Regional Training Center supported by WHO/TDR, University of Ghana School of Public Health.

Millicent Boadiwa-Yirenkyi was a Teaching and Research Assistant at the School of Medicine, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), where she assisted Professor Onike P. Rodrigues in the teaching of Medical Terminology, coordinated teaching activities, assisted faculty members in  proposal development, as well as performing some administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Dean. She also served as the School of Medicine representative on the Vocational Training Committee from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, she was reassigned to the erstwhile Quality Assurance Unit, where she has been responsible for data management (data collection, data entry and data analysis) of Students’ Evaluation of Teaching Effectiveness and other tasks under the supervision of the Assistant Registrar. Prior to her Bachelor of Science Degree, she worked as a Senior Pharmacy Technologist at the 37 Military Hospital, Ministry of Defense, Accra.

Ms. Boadiwa-Yirenkyi has ardent interest in Quality Management and Implementation studies in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
