PROFILE OF MR. FELIX KODJO APALOO
Mr. Felix Kodjo Apaloo is a level 400 Medical Student of the School of Medicine at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) and the Federal Students’ Representative Council (SRC) President of the University. He is the first Medical student to hold the position.
He had his secondary education at Keta Secondary School (KETASCO), and later pursued his BSc. Medical Laboratory Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Prior to his admission into the UHAS School of Medicine in 2016, Mr. Apaloo worked for Ghana Health Services for five years, where he exited as a certified Senior Biomedical Scientist. He has considerable working experience with such notable health facilities as International SOS (Newmont Gold Ghana – Ahafo Kenyase Ahwediem and Akyem mines), Koforidua Regional Hospital, Nyaho Medical Centre, and Akim Oda Government Hospital (Deputy Head of Laboratory Department). He also taught Anatomy on part-time basis at Akim Oda Community Nurses’ Traning College one academic year.
Mr. Apaloo was a School Prefect at Trinity International School, Aflao, Executive Leader of KETASCO Science and Maths Quiz Club, Assistant Class President for MEDLAB CLASS (2009) of KNUST (for two years).
