Courage Kwame Dzukey is currently a Principal Quantity Surveyor Assistant at Works and Physical Development Directorate of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in the Volta Region of Ghana.
He obtained a Higher National Diploma in Building Technology from Ho Technical University and later studied for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
He worked with several construction and consultancy companies including Kaddacon Limited; a Construction Company where he worked as an Assistant Site Supervisor on the European Union funded Small Towns Water Supply Project in the Western Region of Ghana.
He later got engaged by Yogarib Engineering Services Limited; the Consultant on the African Development Bank funded Afram Plains District Agricultural Development Project as a Clerk of Works after which he joined Key Architectural Company as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Mr Dzukey’s hard work and good experience in construction has earned him an appointment with Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft mbh a German Engineering Consultancy firm which is specialised in Port and Coastal engineering where he worked as a Site Supervisor on the Takoradi Port Expansion Project in Takoradi, Ghana.
In December 2016, Mr Dzukey was appointed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor Assistant into the Directorate of Works and Physical Development of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, where he works currently. Mr Dzukey as at the year 2018, has thirteen years of relevant working experience which he brings on board to help build the physical infrastructure of the young University of Health and Allied Sciences which has a huge infrastructural deficit. His responsibilities include preparation of Bills of Quantities, Valuation of works done by contractors, preparation of Interim Payment Certificates, Unit Rates build up, preparation of Cost Estimates, preparation of Cost Reports and Cost Control on ongoing projects.
