Mathias Yao Mawunya Tengey is an astute Senior Clerk of Works. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the Liverpool John Moores University, UK.

He also holds a Higher National Diploma in Building Technology from the Ho Polytechnic now Ho Technical University with Second Class Upper division.

He was appointed as a Structural Draughtsman in Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) Ho from 2002 to 2008.

In 2008 to 2016 he was promoted to Site Engineer and Structural Clerk of Works at the same organization.

In 2017, he was appointed as Senior Clerk of Works in the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Work and Physical Directorate Department (WPDD). A position he holds till date.

Mathias Y. M. Tengey possesses good communication and negotiation skills as well as great sense of humor, maturity, honesty and ability to look at challenges as opportunities, practically minded and problem solving through methodological and logical ways, possess great work ethics and a superb team worker among other qualities.
