All candidates applying for admission into any Sandwich (undergraduate) programme would be required to provide the following:

The Sandwich Programme in the Fred N. Binka School of Public Health is a program designed for both diploma and certificate holders who have successfully completed the Access Course organised by the School. The programmes are as follows:
Bachelor of Public Health Disease Control
Bachelor of Public Health (Environmental Health)
Bachelor of Public Health (Health Information)
Bachelor of Public Health (Health Promotion)
Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition)
Bachelor of Public Health (Mental Health)
Entry Requirements
Applicants with a Diploma awarded by accredited Health Institutions and Institutions under the Ministry of Health shall require a CGPA of 2.0 or better.
- An applicant who holds a diploma in any Environmental Health discipline may apply for Bachelor of Public Health (Environmental Health option).
- An applicant who holds a two-year or three-year diploma in Community Mental Health/Mental Health/Nursing (General/Psychiatry Nursing and Midwifery) disciplines may apply for Bachelor of Public Health (Mental Health option).
- An applicant who holds a diploma in Disease Control, Nutrition, Health Promotion or Health Information is expected to apply into their respective tracks (i.e. Bachelor of Public Health (Disease Control), Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition), Bachelor of Public Health (Health Promotion) and Bachelor of Public Health (Health Information).
Level of Entry
- Those whose CGPA is 2.0 and above will be considered for admission into Level 300.
- Diploma holders whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
- Successful Candidates from the Access Course would enroll in the degree programmes (Sandwich) at Level 200.
School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS)

Entry Requirements
Bachelor of Dietetics
Diploma Holders
Applicants with any Professional Diploma in Nutrition/Dietetic Technology from accredited institutions with CGPA of not less than 2.0 and who are licensed by the Allied Health Professions Council shall be admitted to Level 300.
Applicants whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
Degree Holders
Applicants with first degrees in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, or related fields from accredited institutions with CGPA of not less than 2.0 shall be admitted to Level 300.
Applicants whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
BTECH/HND/Diploma in Hospitality Management and related fields
Applicants with BTECH/HND/Diploma in Hospitality Management from accredited institutions with CGPA of not less than 2.0 shall be admitted to Level 200.
- Bachelor of Orthotics and Prosthetics
Applicants must hold Diploma in Orthotics and Prosthetics or related discipline awarded by an accredited institution, with a CGPA of not less than 2.0 and will be admitted to Level 300.
Applicants whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
Applicants with other relevant diploma shall be admitted into the programme at Level 200.
Applicants must have not less than three years of certified practice in Orthotics and Prosthetics or related discipline.
Doctor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (6 years):
Applicants who hold Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science may be admitted into the Programme at Level 500.
Applicants who hold a related Science-Based Bachelor’s degree from a GTEC Accredited Institution may be admitted to level 300 of the programme.
Applicants who hold Diploma/HND in Medical Laboratory Science awarded by a GTEC Accredited institution may be admitted to Level 300 of the programme.
Applicants who hold HND (Science Laboratory Technology) awarded by a GTEC/NABTEX Accredited institution will be admitted to Level 200 of the programme.
For all the above qualifications, a CGPA of 2.0 or above would be an advantage.
Applicants whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
School of Nursing and Midwifery (SONAM)

Entry Requirements
Certificate Entry:
Candidates who passed the UHAS School of Nursing and Midwifery End-of-Access Course Examination are eligible to apply for admission into Level 200.
However, successful candidates who seek to be admitted into a programme apart from that in which they are certified may be admitted into Level 100.
Diploma Entry:
Applicants MUST hold the following qualifications from institutions accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Ghana:
Diploma in General Nursing, Midwifery or Public Health Nursing/Registered Community Health Nursing.
- Post NAC/NAP Midwifery applicants will progress in the field of Midwifery if they have a Diploma and they are exempted from writing the Licensing Examination.
Level of Entry
The point of entry will be Level 300.
However, applicants who seek to be admitted into a programme apart from that in which they are certified may be admitted into Level 200 and must write the Licensing Examination by the NMC.
Applicants whose CGPA is between 1.50 and 1.99 will be considered for admission into Level 200.
Short-listed applicants may be required to attend a selection interview.
