The 2nd Minor Games and the 28th Cross Country Competition of the Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) held under the theme, ‘Harnessing Lesser Known Sports: The Key to Developing the 21st Century Sportsman’ has kicked off with a colourful opening ceremony on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya.

The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has successfully concluded its Third Research Conference, held from October 21 to 23, 2025, at the University’s Main Campus, Sokode-Lokoe, Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana.  
The conference opened with a ceremony on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the University’s Cedi Auditorium and ended with another ceremony on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the same venue.

The Department of Midwifery at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has successfully concluded its maiden Breast Cancer Awareness Month celebration, leading a month-long initiative that championed education, screening and advocacy in the fight against breast cancer.

A delegation from Columbia University School of Nursing interacted with the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) Management on Wednesday, September 17 and Friday, September 19, 2025 as part of capacity development collaboration efforts between Columbia University School of Nursing and UHAS School of Nursing and Midwifery (SONAM). 
The international collaboration is aimed at nursing exchange programmes, as catalysts for global health, equity and cultural competencies in research, nursing and midwifery education.
