Postgraduate Entry Requirements & Guidelines

General Entry Requirement (Postgraduate) 

  • Applicants shall be required to pass an entrance interview

  • Applicants shall provide details of two referees preferably, academic and professional 

  • Applicants may be required to take an entrance examination. 

  • Applicants would be required to provide Recommendation Letters from Referees

 

Softcopies of the following documents would be required to complete the application:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).

  • Transcript of academic records.

  • Research proposal (Abstract) of not more than 500 words for Masters applicants 

  • Research proposal (Abstract) of not more than 700 words for PhD applicants

SCHOOL OF BASIC AND BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (SBBS) – HO CAMPUS

i)       Doctor of Philosophy (Biomedical Sciences) - 

Duration: 4 Years, Full-Time

Entry Requirements 

  • Applicants must possess a master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution in Biomedical Sciences or related discipline.

  • Evidence of Research Capacity

 

ii)      Master of Philosophy (Biomedical Sciences) 

Duration: 2Years, Full-Time

         Entry Requirements 

Applicants must possess a first degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent in Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Biological Sciences or any other Health related degrees from a recognized institution.
