On behalf of the students, the Dean of Students, Professor Judith Akorkor Torgbor, extended her appreciation to the Alumni for the donation which she noted will go a long way to improve the day-to-day administration of the University.

In the same vein, the Dean of Fred N. Binka School of Public Health, Professor Frank Baiden, on behalf of the Schools expressed his deepest appreciation to the Alumni. He ended his speech by saying “it is always gratifying to witness past students give back to the University.”

The Alumni President of UHAS, Mr. Gabriel Agbanyo, under whose leadership the gesture was made, said the goal of the association is to contribute meaningfully to the University’s progress and also strengthen the connection between the Alumni community and the institution. He assured the University of many more of such actions.

UHAS is a nascent but very fast growingfast-growing University in Ghana and it is the only state university solely dedicated to the healthcare profession.
